Jon and Hannah’s Wedding!

Thank you for helping to make our wedding day so wonderful. It was so special to have so many of our favourite people around us to celebrate our marriage. Thank you for sharing in our day and for all of your generosity in taking the time to travel to Kent and for showering us with boundless love, friendship, cards, gifts and confetti! We hope that you enjoyed your time in Kent as much as we did.

Here are a few photos and videos of the day and a few ‘behind the scenes’ details too! Hopefully they will help you to relive many happy memories and cement them in your hearts.

Photos are courtesy of our lovely photographer Karen Rumens.

Did you know that we made our own weddings rings with a little help from the wonderful folk at the Jewellery Cottage in Norfolk. Hannah created a new ring from her great aunt’s gold ring and Jon made a complex ring with 3 different parts! We even got a certificate to say that we had succeeded in not breaking a saw blade!

Did you know that Hannah designed and made her bridesmaids skirts?! She created a different pattern for each skirt using drawings done in an ink pen that Jon gave her. The patterns were created from images that meant something to Hannah and Jon, including May blossoms and Sweet William flowers to symbolise their middle names.

The links to videos of some of the songs we sung are below:

A new Commandment

Be Still for the Presence of the Lord

I the Lord of Sea and Sky

God Moves in a Mysterious Way
